Gluten Free Biscuits

These gluten free biscuits are amazing. Not only they melt in your mouth but they are so easy to make.

The flavor is so mild yet sophisticated. You just need a mixing bowl and a whisk. You can make them just before you are ready to serve, they are best when are out of the oven. Great breakfast or brunch item, especially if you have gluten free guests. Nowadays it is so handy to have a good recipe that you can do with products that you already have in your pantry. Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup gluten free oat flour

1 cup brown rice flour

1 cup arrowroot flour

1 cup almond meal 

2 tablespoon flaxseed meal

2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

2 tablespoons raw sunflower seeds

1 tablespoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 tablespoon nutritional yeast

1 tablespoon agave

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cups water

Topping:

1 tablespoon nigella seeds

1 tablespoon olive oil

 

Directions:

Heat oven to 375 F.

Take a baking sheet and line with a parchment paper. In a mixing bowl add the dry ingredients: oat flour, rice flour, arrowroot  flour,almond meal, flax seed, sesame seeds, sunflower, salt, baking powder, baking soda, nutritional yeast. In another bowl add the wet ingredients: olive oil, agave, water. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix well.

Take an ice cream scoop and a cup with lukewarm water. dip the ice cream scoop in the water and then into the batter and scoop an evenly sized biscuits. Lay on the parchment paper. 

Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with nigella seeds and Bake for about 20 minutes. Let it slightly cool and serve.
