Savory Granola For Passover

Ingredients

3 matzo’s, break into small pieces

1/2 cup raw almonds

1/2 cup raw pecans

1/4 cup tahini paste

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons zaatar spice mix

1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Heat oven to 350 F, convection setting preferred

Take a large baking sheet and line with a parchment paper, set aside.

Take a mixing bowl and add the matzo’s, almonds and pecans. In another smaller bowl add tahini, olive oil, zaatar and salt. Whisk to combine and then pour over the dry ingredients. Mix well with a spatula for an evenly distribution of the wet ingredients. Pour the mixture onto the baking sheet and flat it into a one layer. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes or less. Make sure to mix it again after about ten minutes in the oven so that it will bake in the most evenly way possible.

Let it cool down completely before storing it in a glass container on the counter.
