Heart-Shaped Crackers

These crackers are so crunchy and addictive, you are going to love them! nothing like any crackers you’ve tasted before. They are thick cut, salty, and are the perfect snack. I love to eat them with my cup of tea instead of something sweet. I also love to serve them with dips and spreads. They will look beautiful on any grazing board.

Ingredients

3 cups gluten-free flour blend

1 cup raw sesame seeds

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

3/4 cup olive oil

1 1/4 cups soda water

Optional Topping : zaatar spice mix

Directions

Heat oven to 375 F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl add flour, sesame seeds and salt, whisk all together.

To the same bowl add olive oil and soda water and mix with a spatula until you form a dough.

Roll the dough between 2 pieces of parchment paper into a 1/4 of an inch thickness. Take a small cookie cutter of your choice and cut the crackers. Or you can choose to cut the crackers into squares without using a cookie cutter. Place on the baking sheet, sprinkle some zaatar (optional).

Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.

Let it cool down on a cooling rack. Store in a jar on the counter top.
