Baked Yam Fries

Yams are so delicious! Sweet and salty, satisfying, and much healthier then regular potato fries.

They are loaded with fiber, potassium, vitamin A, and vitamin C that help keep your immune system strong! Yams are a good source of antioxidants, lower cholesterol and keep your heart healthy.

You can have it as a side dish, snack, or even a yummy appetizer along with a spicy dip.

Directions:

6-7 small yams peeled and cut into stripes

I left the skin on for extra nutrition- just scrub well

Olive oil spray

Salt

Pepper

Sweet paprika

 

Directions:

Take a baking sheet and spray with olive oil spray.

In a bowl add the yams, spray or drizzle olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper, sweet paprika. Mix it well.

Lay the yams on the baking sheet and bake until tender / golden brown.
