No-Bake Chocolate Globes

These chocolate globes are to die for! Seriously! And fairly healthy too! They are grain-free (so by default, gluten free) and packed with protein—you can’t go wrong.

Check out this super easy recipe. The best part is that they are NO-BAKE! Such a great, simple project to do with your kids.

Ingredients:

Yield: 20 balls

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, vegan & gluten-free

2 tablespoons coconut oil

1/2 cup tahini

1/2 cup maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 cup almond flour

1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

a pinch of salt

Topping: about 1/2 cup coconut flakes

Directions:

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate with the coconut oil. In another bowl, add tahini, maple and vanilla extract. Mix. Add the melted chocolate into the tahini mixture and mix well. Add the almond flour, coconut flakes and a pinch of salt and mix. Let it sit for 10 minutes to set. Take a small ice-cream scoop and create evenly sized balls. Coat each ball in coconut flakes (or whatever topping you like—feel free to get creative here!) and place in the fridge to set—they will harden overnight. You can also keep them in the freezer for easy treats whenever you’re craving them.
