Berbere Ethiopian Spice Blend

Berbere is the main spice at the Ethiopian cuisine. Here is a very simple recipe that I recreated with spices from my pantry. I love using Berbere especially when cooking lentils. It gives it a delicious flavor and a lovely aroma. Also, this is a great spice mix to use on your baked vegetables, tofu squares or as a tempeh rub.

When you have a good spice mix on hand, it helps create a successful dish in no time, and also ease the clean up process.

It is always cheaper when you make your own spice mix, so this is another great reason to use your pantry spices that otherwise you might have not.

For me it works beautifully and efficiency:)
