Breakfast Favorite Oatmeal

I get asked a lot about my oatmeal breakfast recipe. After years of eating toast with cottage cheese and jam, I realized how bad it was for me. My digestive system was not right, and after making the change, I feel a lot better. It completely changed my life. If you experience problems with your digestive system, try this as a morning breakfast. Together with a cup of tea, water, and even coffee,  You'll see the change pretty quickly. It is very tasty and filling. The crunch from the nuts and the sweetness from the cranberries and pure maple syrup is divine! You'll love it!

yield: 1 serving

1/4 cup gf steal cut oats or gf old fashioned oats

1 teaspoon chia seeds

1 tablespoon flaxseed meal

1 cup boiling water - or more

4 halves walnuts, chopped

1 tablespoon cranberries

1 teaspoon goji berries (optional)

1 tablespoon honey roasted almond slices

1 teaspoon pure maple syrup

sunflower seeds - optional

pepita seeds - optional

In a mason jar, add the oats, chia seeds, flaxseed meal and boiling water. Place in the fridge overnight.

The next day, re-heat in the microwave for 1 minute, mix, and add more water if necessary. (Especially if you like yours more liquidy.) Next, add walnuts, cranberries, almonds, pure maple syrup and cinnamon. Mix and enjoy.
